Danielle Schumacher

Co-Founder & CEO, THC Staffing Group

Danielle Schumacher is an award-winning cannabis industry activist, advocate and entrepreneur. She co-founded THC Staffing Group in 2014 after years of actively campaigning for sensible drug legalization, which included co-founding chapters of Students for Sensible Drug Policy and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), and being named Freedom Fighter by High Times Magazine while still a student at the University of Illinois.

After earning her anthropology degree with the highest distinction, she was recruited by Berkeley Patients Group in 2005 to head the Cannabis Action Network. As Oaksterdam University’s first Chancellor, Danielle helped develop the curriculum and oversaw recruitment and training for instructors. Danielle sits on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Visionary Council and was the proud recipient of their 2017 Visionary Woman of the Year Award.

Throughout her career, Danielle has remained focused on improving recruitment and management strategies in order for organizations and employees to reach their full potential. As President and CEO, Danielle guides THC Staffing’s mission to build a diverse and inclusive cannabis industry by prioritizing employment and ownership for communities most impacted by the War on Drugs.
