Lorena Sander is passionate about creating shared value between the private and public sectors in pursuit of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, focusing on innovation and development finance.

As a lawyer specialized in international public procurement, she has worked for NGOs, local governments, firms and International Organizations in Mexico, New York, Istanbul, Rome and Washington DC. An avid problem solver, Lorena has re-negotiated multi-million dollar contracts and has found ways for UNDP to work with non-traditional donors, including the European Investment Bank and the World Bank in projects spanning from Tajikistan to Mexico.
