The Guild of Music Supervisors is pleased and excited to announce its sixth year partnering with Mondo.NYC. Each October, Mondo & GMS New York bring together many of the top music supervisors in advertising, film and TV to help educate about the craft of music supervision. Please join us on Thursday October 12th at Brooklyn’s spectacular Williamsburg Hotel for an immersive day-long series of panels, round tables and case studies produced by GMS New York to keep up with the pulse of music supervision in NYC.
The day will be packed with rich and insightful conversation and learning, and we look forward to seeing you in person for the first time in three years in Brooklyn!

With the rise of productions focusing on the Latine experience and Latine music mega stars, is the sync community following the necessary steps to honor the intersections of what Latin is and reflecting its multifaceted identities? This exploration will touch on building awareness of common misconceptions while shining light on what steps to take toward intentional practices to build inclusive and genuine soundtracks.

Join us and meet, network and learn from some of the top music supervisors and industry executives in the fields of advertising, film, TV, video games and trailers about how they do what they do. Panelists include noted global, NYC and LA-based music supervisors, composers and sync and master licensing execs.

Guild of Music Supervisors is a non-profit organization with the mission to promote the craft of music supervision for the mutual benefit of all media stakeholders in film, television, games, advertising, trailers and emerging media. The Guild is an educational and professional resource for music supervisors and those working in related fields across the media spectrum. The Guild's NYC Education Event & Film Festival will explore the opportunities and challenges of supervision and sync & master licensing, and how related technologies like AI, blockchain and more may impact them.
